  1. It is indeed amazing how quickly history transforms into this standard story, where everybody tells the same thing. New Orleans, Chicago, New York, maybe some LA and KC but that is about it.
    And on the other hand it is frustrating how little evidence is left from the old days. I am currently trying to understand the history of Jazz in my home country and it is very difficult.
