Dad and I have Cape Cod roots and Boston soul. Scallops, Quahogs and Steamers make us happy.
My culinary journey began in my grandfather’s garden, where as a child I discovered my love of fresh ingredients. I have vivid early memories of Dad sneaking a salt shaker out of the kitchen and into Papa’s garden where he would steal tomatoes off the vine.
“He’d rub the tomato clean on his shirt, lick the skin, add a dash of salt and dive headlong into the sweetest vine ripened tomato you’ve ever tasted.”
I began learning about delivering great service working summer jobs on Cape Cod during college. Then, after, when I joined the training team at Legal Sea Foods in Boston and found mentors who lived and breathed hospitality.
I offer more than 25 years experience managing daily operations in fine dining, upscale casual, fast casual and quick service restaurants. I have been known to geek-out during Forbes 5-Star Hospitality Training Sessions and enjoy matching wine with food.
